Bella came into our family when she was about a year old, along with her dad, Maxx. Maxx was blind, and Bella became much more than his daughter — she became his little guide and constant companion. The two were incredibly close and often slept curled up together. Bella helped Maxx navigate a world he could no longer see, and their bond was something very special.

Bella may be small, but her personality certainly isn’t. She’s outspoken, determined, always first, always nearby, and usually has something to say about whatever is happening. She’s Maddie’s faithful sidekick, and together those two can turn an ordinary day at The Dog House into an adventure.

And then there’s Bella’s unmistakable voice. When she has something important to announce — which is often — everyone gets treated to her signature “whoo whoo whoo whoo!” Around here, when Bella speaks, apparently we’re all supposed to listen. 😂

She may be the smallest of our three girls, but Bella has a huge personality, a loving heart, and absolutely no doubt that she is an extremely important member of this family.

And really… who are we to tell her otherwise? ❤️
